Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat

Oh Yes I know this post is irrelevant to others but I'm sure I had fun watching this familly-themed movie and of course with comedy kicks. There so many literally said idioms and other "kasabihan" that for me are so funny. An example is like "Ang taong gipit sa bumbay kumakapit" and another was "Tell me who you're friends are and I'll tell you who my friends are para barkada". WTF It made me laugh till death. Add the spice that Eugene Domingo adds and Ms. Ai Ai delas Alas great lines. Oh well. My bro still said that Iskul Bukol was a lot better than this movie but I am not yet watching that movie so after few hours of watching it I will be able to judge which one is better(my opinion only).

Movie:
I was so amazed with the face of Serena Dalrymple. She was so damn pretty and especially Shaina Magdayao.(Peeps...I'm totally a Kapuso but my cousins suggested to watch this movie and their number overpowers me so I did not have any choice.) But though the money was worth it because the movie was really good. There were still dramatic scenes but it was just okay. The movie was a box-office and still undergo in showing in cinemas.

There are still other movie to watch and there were just two movies I was able to and they were this movie and the other one was Shake, Rattle and Roll 10. I plan to watch Iskul Bukol next and probably the other movie on DVD. Still I'm recommending you to watch this movie.

A Happy Xmas Party

Well I guess this post is just too late but anyway I'd like to share to you my Christmas Party last December 19. It was full of enjoyment and laughter though. This was my last Christmas Party with my batch for we are graduating already(c'mon...dramatic...corny..)

School...

Our Christmas Party had two parts, the morning was for the whole CNSHS students from Freshmen up to Seniors. There were so many games and some of it were like boring but as the event got longer I felt the excitement and the uncomfortable feeling because we are going to perform a carol and I was one of the representative of our year level and again we were defeated and got the second place but I was still surprised. We did not practiced that much for that performance and luckily we were able to achieved a place higher than we expected. More games were played and this time they were funny. An example was this game...This picture was taken when the were playing the game. It was like follow what the host says. For example was to put the hand of player 1 to the head of player 3(and other commands). Now this picture was our Christmas Carol...guess who am I in that picture...

Seniors...
Now the second part was the year level Christmas party and it was more exciting and enjoyable than the first part of the event. We also had our games and it was like a competiti
on between sections and the unity of each section. I really can't forget the longest line where all of our things was like mixed with each other after the game. One of my classmate does not have the other pair of his shoestring and he went home without it.(hehe)

Last year, we had the Miss Bebot Pageant and it was a hell full of laughter an
d comedic scenes. Now this year we had the Miss Suave(girls acted like boys). Below is the picture of the four contestants and I agreed that did look like boys. By the way, the winner is first contestant from the left. Oh I almost forgot our judges were the Mr Suave of their own generation...our school guards(hehe)After this event, we had our expertise thing which is eating. There were so many food that all of the seniors can't able to finish all of them. I was happy for there were so many great moments with my section and friends and one of those was the exchange gifts given. I received an album for I requested for it. The picture below was taken after the whole event. I will really have a good memory out of this Christmas Party. It was hell full of partying(or course).

Lason

This was the title of an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya but seriously I am a Kapuso it is just that I was so amazed with the great storyline of the episode. It was about a mother who lost his husband and because of this she lost her hope and began to do so weird things. The mother was played by Judy Ann Santos. Her children felt all the suffering after their father died. One of the five children died and one robbed a food to let her sister eat because she is starving. The mother then decides to let her and her kids die by poisoning the food they will eat but her son was able to see what she did that was why her eldest son decided to leave his mother with his brother and two sisters.

The mother realized what she did so she strive harder and she did all the work she can do so she can give and sustain the needs of her children but her children doesn't want to live with her anymore because of that poisoning issue. But she worked a lot and harder so she can buy Christmas gifts to her children. After some dramatic moments(which made my mother cry while watching it), the family reunited with the determination of not leaving each other through times of problems and conflicts. The mother was determined to raise all of her children. Now the children have their own families and maybe they can learn from what happened and be responsible in raising their children.

This was the only episode from few of I've watched that had a great effect on me. In reality, there are really many people now who decides to end their life so they can surpass their sufferings. But they must know that in every problem you encounter in your life there is always a solution to it. You must have the strength to overcome it and with the help of your God, family and friends whom you love you will really be a stronger person after you able to overcome a problem. We must be careful in deciding things that are dangerous and those that will hurt not only you but also those people who care and love you. Remember to pray always so he will guide you always.

Another Triumph??...

Winning...
I really do not expect that Pacquiao will win for I think Dela Hoya has a great advantage to him when it pertains to experience and physical abilities. It was said by the coach of Pacman that he will win in the Round 9 and it was really a fact that Pacman won in Round 8 which is significantly near to 9(nonsense). Even my mother thought that Dela Hoya will win but what we expected did not happen.

I did not mean that Manny is not a good boxer but when you really assume what happen in the match. It seems that Dela Hoya did not even give a powerful blow or exert any effort. From what I observe, it was like that Dela Hoya gave the match to Manny. There are rumors that if ever Oscar will win or lose he will still receive a large amount of money and in fact that he was the producer of the match.

Though there were some proofs that really has a speedy and more powerful blows, I do not think that he also exerted that much strength not like his past fights with Marquez and others. Well at least...Filipinos rejoiced again because he won and Manny made them proud of him...raising our nation(well again...)

Singing...
What the heck happened to Karylle? Her performance was not that good.(okay...I know I don't have the right to judge her singing because I am not that good also in singing). I think it was just okay because there were some mistakes and I noticed it. A factor of this(maybe) was because of many people who are watching. It really makes you that nervous even though you are one of those who are good in singing already.

Money....
Hell yeah!!...Manny earned money again. He gets richer and richer during those wins. How I wish that money will give some of them to those who are really in need. I wish he will help in paying our growing country's debt.

Baby...
Pacman's wife is pregnant and will be pregnant for many times(I think). But Pacman will sustain the needs of his upcoming big family because of his money.

Next match...
Not again...I'm not pertaining to his match in the ring but this time it is about the politics. He lost last election I think leaders should stop persuading him to run again because in my opinion, he will lose again and you are just wasting your money. Why not use it to those people who are potential??

People are waiting again for his next match. Congrats!! Pacman..

Smiling

I was hell amazed with what I saw just this evening at the sky and it was even in the news just awhile ago also. From what I interpret I can see a face smiling. I thought the two eyes are stars but they are not. It was said by the news that the two eyes are the planets Jupiter and Venus. The happening that took place is called the planetary conjunction. Here is the picture:
The small eyes in that picture is the planet Venus and the big one is the Jupiter. It was really amazing. By the way, the crescent moon resembles the smiling lips. The whole pictures makes a pretty and cute smiling face. It is a cute natural phenomenon though. Planetary conjunction was defined as two celestial bodies appear near one another in usually Earth's sky. Here are the recent and coming planetary conjunction:
December 1, 2008 00:36:13 Venus 2°02' south of Jupiter 42.7° East
December 12, 2008 18:12:39 Mercury 7°44' south of Pluto 9.6° East
December 27, 2008 01:50:46 Venus 1°45' south of Neptune 46.2° East
December 28, 2008 18:13:36 Mars 6°22' south of Pluto 6.3° West
December 31, 2008 05:54:23 Mercury 1°17' south of Jupiter 18.6° East

Collapse

Just last Friday, I felt that the sleepy aura enters my body. I was so sleepy that I even made some techniques just to be able to sleep while our teacher is talking and discussing some things. I thought I would be like this for the whole day for I can't even let my eyes open wide so I can see what my teacher writes on the blackboard but I was able to rejuvenate(I think I used this word for the second or fourth time) for the second half of the day later that afternoon.

I was able to enjoy it since me and my classmates had some games that is related to our speech class(connected with hearing and talking). The first game was the word game. You need to say any word that comes from your mind then the next one who will answer must say any word that starts from the letter of the end of the word given by the person who answered before her/him. Remember not to repeat any word given and to not repeat any word that starts from the same letter after the person before you answers the same start letter of the word(I find this instruction given by me confusing...it's very hard to explain the game though). For example the 2nd player answers elope(which starts and ends with "E") so the next one to answer is eliminated since he/she will answer with the same start of the letter.

The next one was the game I will call "Follow Me"(because I forgot what is the real title of this game). Our teacher will give commands that we must follow while walking. For example...(we are already walking this time) Ma'am will tell us to stop so we must stop but we must not wait for her to tell to us to walk because after some one to two seconds of stopping we must continue to walk then wait for the next command while walking.

The third game was the number game. This game will allow us to have a cooperation while counting the numbers 1-20 since we are just twenty that time. The thrill here was we must say it one by one and if two of your classmates simultaneously say the same number you must repeat from the start. For example...student A says 1 then student B says 2 then two students say 3 so you must repeat from the start.

The fourth game was collapse and in my opinion it was the most exciting to me. The first thing to do was to let yourselves far away from each other then let you must walk around and if you suddenly bumps your classmates you must join with him or her(you must be blindfolded or at least your eyes must be close and be sure you are not cheating)(note: no noises must be produced from your mouths...) If you are already completed you must stay near to each other and wait for the next step which is to let your teacher to touch your head and say collapse. You must support your classmates who are in collapse mode(hehe). Cooperation is needed here.

The last game was the pass the message.(You will really pass a long message and it was very hard for you to pass the whole correct message unless you are really good at this.) You must a long message to your classmate starting from the first student up to the last one. The last student will say the sentence given to him/her.

All the games were all exciting. I was not able to win in any of the word game.(the winners here are jake, tomy and shanice). We all cooperated with these game and I can see that our section has a unity(???!!)(hehe)

It's a Rest Day

After two days of non-stop assignments, we finally have a rest day and that day is today. We don't have any homeworks to do like we used to do for the last two days and hell they are full of computations. What a hectic schedule. Not to mention our research that will be finish already after few more days. Since it is a rest day, I finally have the chance to put a post in my blog again which is what I am doing right now.

With few more days to come before Christmas...I feet that I have to work faster for our congress will be near and it is due next year exactly the month of January. But I don't want to talk about that now I need to rest after some "makasiraulong" assignments(hehehe). I will watch some series later so my mind will be relaxed or I'll finish reading a manga or the book of Dan Brown which is the Digital Fortress.

But wait...what is really the meaning of leisure or relax.

Leisure or free time, is a period of time spent out of work and essential domestic activity. It is also the period of recreational and discretionary time before or after compulsory activities such as eating and sleeping, going to work or running a business, attending school and doing homework, household chores, and day-to-day stress. The distinction between leisure and compulsory activities is loosely applied, i.e. people sometimes do work-oriented tasks for pleasure as well as for long-term utility.

For an experience to qualify as leisure, it must meet three criteria: 1) The experience is a state of mind. 2) It must be entered into voluntarily. 3) It must be intrinsically motivating of its own merit. (Neulinger, 1981)(from wikipedia)

It clearly states to relax or to have leisure is doing nothing or doing something that you like voluntarily. Resting lets your mind to rejuvenates and to free your mind and body from the stress you experienced. I do mind that all of living things in the world must have their own relaxation because if you like work and do some hard things for your whole life...you'll be worn out and be left out with things that are in right now.

I usually don't know how to some article and posts so for this post I'll just do nothing(hehe)

Responsibility Over Luxury

Since such tragic things happened with my grade in one subject, I decided to do my best but this time it is with the truth or not just by saying "I'll do better" but also with my effort. I think this second grading had a bad impact to me since it is my first time to get that kind of grade. I will do all my responsibilities this time that pertains to studies and to my future. What I am doing now will have an effect to my future studies since I know that this is really my fault and mainly by myself.

Luxury...hmmm I think this word really is applied to all people who don't care about life and be a luxurious person through their whole entire life but I do not mean all of them are like this but it seems that this word dominates to people who does not take responsibility even a little in their lives. Though I know I sometimes be a luxurious person but I know that this trait or description has a limit where you can only be like this when you finally finished your responsibility with your studies, yourself, your family, your belief and others.

Now I will take away first this luxury thing and think and do what are the things that are important to me and will take me to a better future. I just wish that God will help me.(Yes! I know I'm too religious but nothing is wrong with that and it is not a funny thing). I think I forgot to pray to him during those times that I don't need him and I pray only with times that i need him that much and I'm so sorry about that.

Let me take away first those things that I want and to finish all I have to finish. I need to do this and I will be a better person.

-the end-

Battling Davids

The last battle(or should I say destruction with a little of war) I remembered that had a great effect in my life is the walking out issue of Senator Trillanes during the discussion of his cases. It really rocked my life for I support him(I don't know why??). It even let the some reporters to be suspected and arrested.

And now...After the long wait, I will finally see another great battle.

It is about the coming-up album of David Archuleta and David Cook...(hahaha....). The two Davids will battle it out but not with weapons or something it is with their album sells. The fans of these two seems to fight over the net with comments saying David C rocks(that's true) and David A is cool(ok..??) Though I know that their both albums are worth buying, I really don't know what to buy first.

Last November 11...

The album of David A. was released in the Philippines and I decided to not to buy it first even though I know that I was hooked up with "Crush" and I am hearing it everyday.(I was kind of can relate to the song) But still I decided not to buy it.(Maybe for December).

His songs are almost pop that you can easily memorize the lyrics and you can jive with it easily. There are many good reviews about the release of his album so I think I can rate it 8/10.

On November 18...(from sources)

The second solo album of David C. will be released and I am very excited. I decided to buy it first since I am a fan of him from the start of his season in A.I.(fan of Michael J. and Carly S.) I wish I could go next week in the concert of Michael Johns but since the days given are all school day I will not be able to go. January of 2009 will be the concert of David C. so I hope I can go there.

His album also have good and mix reviews so I will rate it 8.5/10(I'm not being bias...wahaha) Since all of his songs are rock with a mix of alternative, I really want to have an album of him. He sounds like Nickleback or Daughtry but with a different attack.

So who do you think will be better??

problem strike

Since it is my fault to not to start my research early, I was so problematic now because of what will I get with that particular subject. A problem which strikes me everyday is that if me and my groupmates will not be able to finish our research on time we will not be able to get our diploma while graduating in front of many people.(How shameful is that??!!). So that is why I am starting to be alerted with it and started to work a lot but I am hoping that this will result with a positive outcome. I really...really wanted to have my diploma while graduating because it is such a great success to yourself and it proves that you made to finish your secondary education.

Another problem is my grade in the card. I think this is also my fault for there are times that I did not take seriously some designated works to be done. I know for myself that I was not like this for the past years and I don't know why did it happen to me. The fact that I know that I am not doing my full effort in doing those work...I will really predict what will I get from the card. But I know there's always a chance it is just that I am letting it to pass and not to take the responsibility of it. I just wish that I will be more hardworking these next months so I can improve more since the senior year of high school will likely take part with my college life in the future.

I know that this is like a private property of mine but I need to do something so I can shout it out to the world.
Note:
Hindi ako emo...ang laki lang talaga ng problema ko.(wahahaha)(LOL)

The Killer Game

Just this afternoon when I was in the school, my classmate suggest to play a game because the atmosphere of our room is so boring. So he suggested the game named "The Killer Game" which was a traditional game of our batch and we were playing it for every second day of our periodical test in the afternoon and after few months since I was a Junior student we finally played this game.

The Killer Game

Mechanics and Materials Needed:
You only need to have a paper and a ballpen and it is up to you on what characters you will write on the paper. One can fill all the small pieces of paper and put the characters to be picked and played by the other players. First all the players must face each other so they can wink on a particular person. Since you will pick the paper one by one you will not know who is the killer.

Characters:
Killler - if a player picked this he/she must use best at winking other players so he/she can kill them.
Police - in case the Killer will wink at you...you will be able to arrest him/her. If ever you see a player winks to another player he/she is the killer in that way you can arrest him/her also.
Witness - the function of this character is like the police in exception that if the killer will wink at you ...you don't have any choice but to say "I'm dead"
Victim - the most boring because if the killer winked at you...you will say "I'm dead".
(quite corny right)

But in my opinion, the game is really enjoyable since we really had fun while playing this game. My classmates even had their weird strategies and funny ones while winking to my other classmates and to me. It is really our past time game.

Watching Programs About Extraordinary Things Like...Ghosts, Kapre, White Lady and Wateber tings....

I am currently watching scary television program about spirits, white lady, the sapi ng espirito, kapre and others....

Yeah!! Right now while typing what I am posting in the blog.

They tend to scare us. Well me, I'm not scared like when I try to go to the first floor of our house I need to open all the lights.(wahahaha). Don't laugh. I'm really not scared but if you will try to fool me off like what I am always doing to my mother, I'm gonna pull a prank to you also even worse.

I always remember the expression of my mother when she was shocked when I try to scare her but I stopped it now because she will be angry like a monster if I try to do it again.

Believing in ghosts etc.....

If you are going to ask me if I believe those kind of creatures or what do you call them??? Yes, I do believe with them. Maybe because it's with the influence of my grandparents and my other old relatives. But people if you are going to be scared with these try to put in your mind that you must be scared of living people because they'll hurt you more.

Ghosts stories....

My grandparents told me some scary stories when I was a child so I can stopped doing some naughty things like fighting with my younger brother. I can still remember the feeling I got when my grandmother told me that.

Visiting my deceased ate and my other grandparents...(no connection to the title)

I visited my ate yesterday at the cemetery and we spent 2-3 hours there. I prayed for her and my other grandparents. There were so many people at the cemetery so will not be able to buy some drinks and food if I and my family get hungry luckily my mother brought the food and drinks she prepared that morning on that day.

Have a peaceful life in heaven Ate and mga Lolo and mga Lola...

What else??
I can say no more. I am really, really sleepy now. Goodnight...

What's With What???

Haven't you notice that some of my posts contain the same word in the title?? and if you are asking me if I notice that....Yeah!! I did. I really don't know what do my mind have to always put "what" with my titles(LOL). I'm so sorry guys for that attitude. I will really try with my at most effort to give more artistic titles to my posts. Like when you read eat you'll be amazed and shocked till death(hehehe). I will try to get some opinions from my cousins who are very artistic(non-sense). They are not useful to me because they are very busy with their studies also.

I also notice that many people followed me already and for those all that followed me. I will say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

Talking about our research....

I think we had a little improvement already and I am hoping to finish the whole experimentation this coming week so I can now be happy and be ready for our research paper. At least I know that I can get a diploma in graduation. A diploma is very important for college right?? So I can reach my dreams and be a neurosurgeon or cardiothoracic surgeon or maybe orthopedic surgeon(as what my father suggests). I choose you....neurosurgeon(wahaha). I'm quite excited or maybe.....VVEEERRRYYYY excited.

I remember last time when I try to search more about medicine and specialties and etc. My mother noticed it and she mention "Malayo-layo pa yan anak. Di ka pa tapos sa research mo." There she goes again. I know to myself that I can finish my research but what I am uncertain is the grade I will get. Lord...please guide me well with this field. Research is one of my weakness and I know that to myself.

Missing Church Sunday Masses...

I don't know(also) what's happening to me during Sundays because just this morning I am trying to go up early so I can attend the mass but unfortunately I was not able to. A reason for this is that always sleep at night very late. (Are you kidding me?!? I slept very early last night). No, what I am trying to say is that you must not sleep very late during weekdays because it will let you feel very sleepy during free time like weekends.(Ohh... I understand now). See, if we try to balance our sleeping hours we will be able to do what we want to do with an early time like attending the Sunday mass.

Oh! Crap!! I am out of story and words now so I guess I have to go now.

Addicted with Miss Independent

I really don't know why this song got me hooked up with it. Like I've been playing this song for more than 20 times since yesterday. That is also the reason why changes the name of my blog to "mr. independent". Maybe because of the beat of the song or the lyrics it has. Miss Independent by Ne-Yo really is hooking up my life. My brother even said "AGAIN" while I keep repeating playing the song.

By the way don't be surprised with my new posts because they are quite religious which is not normal when I try to put new posts here in my blog. But seriously, I have a great faith in God.

Wait!!.....the topic changed(LOL).

Oh I'm so sorry because I have nothing to put already. I'm currently out of words to describe the song.

Is This What You Call "Sembreak"

I really don't know why do we call this sembreak and the things we have to do are all school work also. The only difference is that we are going to do it inside our houses. Some people are quite dumb(like me) to believe that this week will be a rest day but it's not. These past days I was very busy with our research and with the load of assignments and projects given by our teachers. It was really a nature of the teachers to give many of them while we are having our semestral break so I understand them.

I still remember when I was just a grade school student, teachers tend to type all of the assignments and projects to be done during sembreak and with the research thing it was our fault for we started doing it late. I really, really thought that this week will be filled with fun and rest without thinking and doing something that is needed to be done and for the sake of compliance. So in my opinion, sembreak can be for college students only because it is a fact that it is really a break from their studies, exams and others.

Students also have their flaws because they are always practicing cramming with the things to be done. Well I started doing all of them just yesterday and I am still not finish with the left ones. But at least we can spend more time with our family while doing all of those. Teachers do not have their semestral break so I understand that they always give those projects and assignments.

Note:
No offense to the readers especially my teachers... it is just my opinion. It is up to you if you will take this personally and if you did...I'm so sorry.

A Journey To The USTET

Last Sunday, I had my entrance examinations at the University of Santo Tomas. The courses that I chose are BS Nursing and BS Physical Therapy and I am also planning to take the Medicine course here also in UST.

[Before the test day]

I was complaining a couple days ago to my mother why would I have to take the said test in the afternoon. I might feel sleepy with that time. She said that we don't have any choice because 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. was the only available time on the day of October 26. That day was also my brother's birthday(belated...bro). So I didn't continue complaining because we really don't have any choice.

[Here it comes]
The day finally came. I had to wake up early because it
's Sunday and I will attend the 6:00 morning mass. Of course..I prayed to the Almighty God to bless me in taking the test and please let me pass. After the mass, we went directly to my Tita Mabel's house because we will celebrate my brother's birthday and that day was also my Tita Ycel's last day here in the Philippines because she, together with her family, will go back to U.S.A. later that evening. We spent some few hours there so we can celebrate.(singing...Celebration....let's celebrate..all night)

[Travelling....]
I really hate to wait but I don't have choice since there were s
till no SAULOG which we will ride to go to a bus stop where we will walk and go the S.M. Manila. I need to buy many things for our experimentation so we went first to the mall. I was very nervous......very nervous that will make my heart burst out(exaggerated)(lol). My mother was making fun of me that time and told me that for how many times I took entrance examinations I am still nervous(hay naku she added).

[UST Welcomes Me]

The encircled building is the St. Raymund's Building. This was the building where I took the test. It was not hard finding it though the UST has a wide campus. The time I entered the building the nervous feeling I had awhile ago was gone. By using the elevator, I went directly to the RM 410 which is located at the 4th floor. I was so delighted because the room is air-conditioned(it's because it was very hot outside). I really thought that I would be late but when I reached and entered it there were still many people to be waited too. I always remind my mother before we where in UST that we maybe late but it turns out that we're not. All I can see from the campus are students who will take the afternoon schedule of the also.

[It was quite easy]

I seated just beside the aircon but bad luck invades me and we have to rearrange the seating arrangement. It was a good thing that my seatmates are all cute(hehehe). Another thing was that the test was easier than the UPCAT(of course all of expected that). Some questions are easy and some are not. We were alloted not more than an hour for each part of the test.Sadly, I was not able to finish the first part so I just guessed the left questions(good thing it was just multiple choice---hehe). I felt that the time I took the test good luck kicked out the bad luck that was in me awhile ago and helped me answering the test and of course with the guidance of Jesus and God. We started at 1:40 PM (I think) and ended 4:50 PM (estimated also). The results will be post on January 12, 2009. I really wished and hoped that I will pass the exam.(Best experienced in the test was when we prayed before taking the test and after taking the test led by our proctor)

[It's Time To Go Home]

After the test, we headed to the airport with my family because Tita Ycel(with my Tito and cousin) will go back to U.S. already. They all cried and we were all sad because we part ways again.

---They Came Back and Gone Again---

After 4-5 years I think they were gone in the Philippines. My Tita Ycel with her family finally went home in the Philippines. They have been residing in the United States for the past years. I and my family missed them a lot and I finally saw my cousin who was born there in U.S. I was so glad to see my tita because the last time I saw her personally was when in the airport seeing her to go to the United States after that we just chatted and e-mail with each other through the web. She was a very kind aunt to me the same with my other aunts and uncles. They spent their vacation here for almost two weeks. I always had to eat my dinner in my Tita Mabel's house because my Tita Ycel wanted me to together with my mother, brother and my other cousins with their parents. It will take one minute to go on that house though. I just have to walk so it was just alright for me.We had fun everyday because it seems like we were having a reunion everyday.

COMPETITIONS>>...>>wahaha
My three little cousins were like having a competition in dancing and many othe
r things. I thing kids tend to be always want the attention of many people.
The three kids try to dance with their full effort and to determine who is the best. They were all cute though. Oh! The extra at the back is my other cousin.

STAR CITY here we come!!!!
We decided to go to the Star City just the first Sat. of them here in the Philippines. We were so excited to have all the rides we can ride on
.
FIRST STOP---Wild River
It was so funny that my brother was very afraid of these ride. He always have to reply "madali kaya akong mahilo" so he will not be joining any other rides. He was very scared of this ride and I was laughing that much because of this. Luckily, I did not get we.
SECOND---Viking
Kuya David, Jay and me decided to ride at the last part of these ride and it was a lot of fun. I did not expect my cousin Kuya David got dizzy in this ride. I decided to ride here the second time and this time with my uncle. I was the only one who did not get dizzy.
THIRD--Zyklon Loop
This ride was one of the best since you will experienced the loop that fast and I feel like I'm flying LOL I was like a child. I was with my mother, cousins and Tita Mabel. My cousin Iko was very sad because she was not able to ride here for she did not meet the requirement of the height. Jay decided not to ride also since his reason was always "madali kaya akong mahilo".
FOURTH--Star Flyer
I rode here three times but not consecutively because I might get dizzy. I was with my cousin (Kuya David) on the first ride, with my uncle(Tito Paks) on the second ride and with my cousin(Des) on the last. It was described as the "inverted rollercoaster" for it was described literally meaning it is inverted. The coolest ride for me.
FIFTH--Surf Dance
This was the most dangerous ride for I feel like I'm thrown but I was just laughing while experiencing this. I sat beside my Tita Ycel and she shouted from the start up to the last moment the ride stop. My other family members were scared also while riding the Surf Dance.
OTHERS
My younger cousins had their fun also in the kiddy rides. They were so cute while riding all of those they can ride on. We also decided to go to some scary entertainment like Gabi ng Lagim and The Mummy. I think they were all not scary I was just laughing because all the props made here were so corny[seriously][LOL].
After the whole afternoon at the Star City. We decided to go home so all of us can rest because this day was so tiring. Tomorrow will be a busy day again for we will go swimming.

Here are some of are pictures...wahaha

These are the pictures while we are waiting for the entrance tickets( are they tickets?? I don't know what to call them sorry).

iN+r@mUr@!$ 2008

At last after the long wait with preparations and meetings, our intramurals in the school was continued and now it was finished. There are lot of arguments went through just to let this intrams to be continued. The first day was very tiring when it pertains to our mouths and voices. We shouted a lot for the Mr. and Ms. Physique and for the Cheer Dance Competition. Of course there were lots of fun and joyful moments when each contestant try to ramp around the stage and the whole gym and we shouted for every pose they did. The cheer dance of the Blue Vaio (in my opinion) was the best for it was really a cheer dance not like the Red Macintosh who just danced(sorry for the comment). So I was surprised when we lost on that particular event. After the opening ceremonies, we decided to take pictures first of the whole seniors and our section here are them.

We all look excited right. After lunch, the games started. All the students were at with their full energy to give all of them for their respective games. We continued to cheer for our groupmates and another team we supported all the way, Green Acers which first had their match with the Red Macintosh. Our team had all the first match with the Yellow Asus. The Volleyball team of the Green were so good that even the Red team and our team were beaten. They were the champion of the volleyball girls tournament. With my team in volleyball, we were the second placer and the girls' team were in the third place. The main event of these games was the basketball. We were the champion in the boys' division and the girls were in the second place. We were interrupted with the competition the next day of the first day of the intramurals (quite confusing..hehe). It was because of the Koreans who checked our school and guess what....they even took a picture of us(LOL).

The second day and the third day of the Intramurals were all filled with enjoyment, competition between the Seniors and the Juniors, alliances of the Blue and Green team(hehe). But the whole event ended on the fourth day for the left games were continued and also the awarding. We became the champions at last I experienced to be one of the champions.1st year-4th,2nd year-3rd,3rd year-2nd, and 4th year-1st (hehe). It was one of the memories I will treasure because I saw the bond between the fourth year students who became united and cooperated with each other.

-the end-

This happened last month I just decided to finally post an article about it.

I was not able to update my blog for so long for I was quite busy with school works and personal reasons and now I finally updated it with two posts. But still I have to post so many things with the recent events and the places we went these past weeks and the events happened in the school. I have a whole sembreak to do it together with the research and the projects and assignment. It will still be a busy week though I know and you also know that it's sembreak. NO ESCAPE wahuhuhu.

What's with MELAMINE???

Melamine is an organic base and a trimer of cyanamide, with a 1,3,5-triazine skeleton. Like cyanamide, it contains 66% nitrogen by mass and, if mixed with resins, has fire retardantmetabolite of cyromazine, a pesticide. It is formed in the body of mammals who have ingested cyromazine. It has been reported that cyromazine can also be converted to melamine in plants. properties due to its release of nitrogen gas when burned or charred, and has several other industrial uses. Melamine is also a

Melamine combines with cyanuric acid to form melamine cyanurate, which has been implicated in the Chinese protein export contaminations.

Melamine is combined with formaldehyde to produce melamine resin, a very durable thermosetting plastic, and melamine foam, a polymeric cleaning product. The end products include countertops, dry erase boards, fabrics, glues, housewares and flame retardants. Melamine is one of the major components in Pigment Yellow 150, a colorant in inks and plastics.

Melamine also enters the fabrication of melamine poly-sulfonate used as superplasticizer for making high-resistance concrete. Sulfonated melamine formaldehyde (SMF) is a polymer used as cement admixture to reduce the water content in concrete while increasing the fluidity and the workability of the mix during its handling and pouring. It results in concrete with a lower porosity and a higher mechanical strength exhibiting an improved resistance to aggressive environments and a longer life-time.

The use of melamine as fertilizer for crops had been envisaged during the '50s and '60s because of its high nitrogen content (2/3)[. However, the hydrolysis reactions of melamine leading to the nitrogen mineralisation in soils are very slow, precluding a broad use of melamine as fertilizing agent.

Melamine derivatives of arsenical drugs are potentially important in the treatment of African trypanosomiasis[8]

Melamine use as non-protein nitrogen (NPN) for cattle was described in a 1958 patent. In 1978, however, a study concluded that melamine "may not be an acceptable non-protein N source for ruminants" because its hydrolysis in cattle is slower and less complete than other nitrogen sources such as cottonseed meal and urea.

Melamine is sometimes illegally added to food products in order to increase the apparent protein content. Standard tests such as the Kjeldahl and Dumas tests estimate protein levels by measuring the nitrogen content, so they can be misled by adding nitrogen-rich compounds such as melamine.

In September 2008, several companies were implicated in a scandal involving milk and infant formula which had been adulterated with melamine, leading to kidney stones and other renal failure, especially among young children. By 22 September, nearly 53,000 people had become ill, with more than 12,800 hospitalizations and four infant deaths.

Melamine may have been added to fool government protein content tests after water was added to fraudulently dilute the milk. Because of melamine's high nitrogen content (66% by mass versus approx. 10-12% for typical protein), it can cause the protein content of food to appear higher than the true value. Officials estimate that about 20 percent of the dairy companies tested in China sell products tainted with melamine.

Testing for melamine and cyanuric acid in food

Until the 2007 pet food recalls, melamine had not routinely been monitored in food, except in the context of plastic safety or insecticide residue. This could be due to the previously assumed low toxicity of melamine, and the relatively expensive methods of detection.

Following the 2008 health scare in China over powdered milk, the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission set-up a website about methods to detect melamine (http://irmm.jrc.ec.europa.eu/melamine[3]).

In October 2008, the U.S. FDA issued new methods for the analysis of melamine and cyanuric acid in infant formulations in the Laboratory Information Bulletin No 4421 . Similar recommendations have been issued by other authorities, like the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare , both based on LC MS/MS detection after HILIC separation

Because melamine resin is often used in food packaging and tableware, melamine at ppm level (1 part per million) in food and beverage has been reported due to migration from melamine-containing resins.Small amounts of melamine have also been reported in foodstuff as a metabolite product of cyromazine, an insecticide used on animals and crops.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture In 2007, the FDA began using a high performance liquid chromatography test to determine the melamine, ammeline, ammelide, and cyanuric acid contamination in food. Another procedure is based on surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). (USDA) provides a test method for analyzing cyromazine and melamine in animal tissues.

MY OPINION...

Well for me, I don't know if this will be more alarming than the past issues about food these past years. But since there were many people who had experienced many dangerous symptoms that they were poisoned by Melamine so we really need to be more careful with what we will buy. I think this it will really have a great effect to children since there are many children who were poisoned.

People be alarmed and careful....
